Iran Satirizes U.S.: We Don't Need Any Country's Permission to Get in Touch with Russia

Iran's Foreign Ministry made it clear it did not seek permission from anyone to expand its relationship with Russia.

This recognition was said by the jubir of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanani, Sunday (12/18/2022).

Iran denies involvement in the 3rd country , including the United States (US) which is worried about Iran and Russia cooperation.

Initially, the Head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) William Burns explained that military cooperation between Iran and Russia gave rise to real terror for US allies in the Middle East, he said during an inter-review with PBS on Friday (12/16/2022) yesterday.

Nasser Kanani said the comments were unfounded.

He said the US comments were a side of the US propaganda war challenging Iran, taken from The Moscow Times.

Initially, the U.S. and allies had already applied threats to Iran for supplying drones to Russia for Ukrainian attacks.

Iran defied the charges and explained the drone had been delivered to Russia just before the aggression into Ukraine that began on February 24, 2022.

Denying U.S. claims and involvement, Iran gave unequivocal recognition.

"Iran acts independently in regulating its foreign interweaving and does not seek permission from anyone to dictate Iran's national regulations," Kanani said in a statement on Sunday (12/18/2022).

"Cooperation between Iran and Russia in several defense sectors is developing in the framework of common needs and not contrary to any 3rd country."

According to Kanani, the U.S. is continuing political claims not based on them and illegal treatment of Iran.

He highlighted the U.S. asking for conservative defense and military cooperation between Iran and Russia, taken from The Times of Israel.

U.S. anxious about Iranian-Russian relations

The head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William J. Burns, explained his concerns regarding the interweaving of Iran and Russia.

He accused Russia of wanting to help Iran, which wants to create terror for US allies in the area, he said in an interviu, Friday (12/16/2022).

"What started to exist at least was initially from full defense cooperation between Russia and Iran, with Iran supplying drones to Russia, which killed Ukrainian civilians just as we discussed this day," William Burns told PBS.

"The Russians are starting to witness technologically or technically, they can provide Iranian support, which is called real terror for Iran's own environment, for many of our colleagues and partners in the Iranian environment ," he said, without naming any U.S. partners around Iran.

William concerns the relationship between Iran and Russia that played a role in the war in Ukraine, taken from The Times of Israel.

In early December, it was rumored that the relationship between Iran and Russia had been upgraded to full defense cooperation.

They highlighted Russia increasing military and technical support to Iran in exchange for arms supplies from Iran.

In addition to drones, Iran is said to be considering supplying Russia with ballistic missiles.

The report explained Russia likely supplied Iran with military equipment including helicopters and air defense mechanisms, and trained Iranian pilots on Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets.

These U.S. concerns are in the midst of major capability competition with China and Russia.
