Elon Musk Announces Twitter Blue Contreng Account Price

Furthermore, Twitter will charge US$ 8 (around Rp. 125 thousand) / month for its Blue service.

This includes multiple accounts that have blue contreng or have been confirmed.

Elon Musk, explained this was implemented to increase subscriptions and create a social media network with the bird's logo that reduces attachment to advertising.

Musk's idea, which was originally reported to want to collect a subscription fee of up to US$20, received a strong response, one of which was from a well-known writer who diligently uses Twitter, Stephen King.

Taking to Twitter, King said "If this were properly applied, I would have wiped out like Enron." Responding to King's tweet, Musk wrote, "what if it's only US$8?"

Musk went on to elaborate further on the issue of his idea for a blue contreng account on Twitter. "The mechanism of royalty and commoners on Twitter today for who has or may not have a blue contreng omen is nonsense. Ability for the wearer! Twitter used to give this to important profiles based on its own criteria.

More than 80% of Twitter users who participated in recent opinion polls explained that they didn't pay for the omen. About 10% explains that they are ready to pay US$5/month.

A blue sign next to the user's name on Twitter verifies if the account has a confirmed person or company. Twitter is now free for the majority of users.

Initially, the world's number one richest man Elon Musk legitimately bought Twitter for US$ 44 billion to buy that social media. Since the takeover, he has moved quickly to take treatment, such as removing the company's initial CEO and other high-ranking bigwigs.
