2022 World Mental Health Day theme

The reason is more than 25 percent during a pandemic someone experiences anxiety and depression. History


Launching the official website for World Mental Health Day (WMHD), World Mental Health Day itself was created by the Deputy Secretary of the World Mental Health Federation, General Richard Hunter in 1992. However, at that time the commemoration did not have a specific theme.

However, in 1994, at the suggestion of Secretary General Eugene Brody, the first theme to commemorate World Mental Health Day was “Improving the Quality of Mental Health Services throughout the World”.


After being made, in the following years it always has a different special theme. This celebration not only raises awareness, but also becomes a moment of empathy, unity, and hope to create change about mental health.
