1 piece of chicken breast and 2 pieces of chicken thigh

1 bay leaf

1 lime leaf

1 segment of geprek galangal

1 stalk lemongrass geprek

Salt to taste

Yellow gravy fine seasoning

3 cloves of garlic

2 tsp coriander

How to make:


Step 1

Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil then add the ingredients to make rice/rice porridge, mix well, after cooked, add bay leaves, lemongrass, salt and coconut milk and cook until thickened. (Stir frequently, don't let it burn under the pan).


Step 2

Saute the finely ground yellow sauce until fragrant then add lemongrass, bay leaves, lime leaves, and galangal, cook until wilted, then add chicken and enough water to mix well until the spices are absorbed. Remove the chicken and drain and set aside the remaining gravy.


Step 3

Fry the chicken until it turns yellow, let it cool after that it is shredded.


Step 4

The remaining ungkep sauce is filtered and then cooked again by adding water and coconut milk.

How to serve: prepare a bowl, then give the porridge which is still hot, add soy sauce, yellow gravy, sweet soy sauce, celery, fried onions, sliced ​​cakwe, soybeans, shredded chicken and finally don't forget the crackers.
