Convinced Putin's Nuclear Threat Is Not a Joke, Joe Biden Warns Of Possible 'Armageddon'
Banaspati -- United States (US) President Joe Biden warned of the seriousness of Russian President Vladimir Putin as he threatened to use tactical nuclear weapons after Russia suffered a setback in Ukraine. That is, the risk of nuclear 'Armageddon' has peaked since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.
Reporting from the BBC, the US said it was trying to figure out how Putin ended the war. Uncle Sam's country and the European Union were previously determined to take putin's nuclear attack threat seriously.

However, according to US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan last week, despite Moscow's verbal threats, the US saw no signs that Russia was immediately preparing to use nuclear weapons.
In his speech on Friday (30/9), Putin accused the US of creating a 'precedent' by using nuclear weapons against Japan at the end of World War II. He also threatened to use all means to protect Russian territory.
In contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not believe in russia's nuclear threat. According to him, it was merely a routine narrative of Russian officials and propagandists.

Meanwhile, according to Paul Stronski of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Russia's 'destabilizing rhetoric' is aimed at deterring the West.
There have also been a number of rejections of Moscow's nuclear threat in Russia itself. One came from an editorial in the country's main newspaper, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, which criticised 'Russian bigwigs' who 'talked about the nuclear button'.
"By allowing thought and words, the possibility of a nuclear conflict becomes a sure step to be realized," he lashed out.
On the other hand, according to a spokesman for russia's foreign ministry on Thursday (6/10), Moscow remains firmly adamant that nuclear war is 'not to be waged'. []
