4.6 million Ukrainians including 700,000 children have left Ukrainian territory annexed to Russia

Banaspati -- In a separate military refinement, Russia's defense ministry explained that 4.six million Ukrainians -- accounting for 700,000 children -- have arrived in Russia since the beginning of Moscow's onslaught on February 24.

Moscow:

About 5 million people, from parts of Ukraine that Moscow claims have already been annexed, have already gone to Russia, a security official said on Wednesday as taken by Russia's state information office.

"About 5 million citizens of Donbas and the southeastern regions of Ukraine have already found shelter in Russia," said the secretary of Russia's National Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, pointing to the Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia areas.

He gave no details on how they came to the country or in what time period.

Patrushev explained that those coming from moscow's controlled areas will "continue to receive special attention."

He explained that Moscow planned to help them return to their homes after "safe circumstances were created in this area."

He spoke as Ukrainian troops advanced into some areas that Russia had ruled for months.

In a separate military refinement, Russia's defense ministry explained on Wednesday that 4.six million Ukrainians -- counting 700,000 children -- had arrived in Russia since the start of moscow's onslaught on February 24.

According to the army, 4,000 of them came in the last 24 hours.

Since its inception, Kyiv has charged Moscow with deportations of its people, echoing soviet-era practices.

The Russian league is preparing to incriminate punishment for violating Russian residency, said the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev.

"We are planning several large numbers of measures to provide legal support and order in some areas with high migrant densities. We are thinking about a legislative shift to tighten migration control and the responsibilities of foreign nationals for violating our country's residency provisions," he told reporters on Wednesday.

He wrote that law enforcement and intelligence agencies would work to identify members of terrorist organizations and foreign terrorists who use migration flows to commit other crimes and terrorism.

In addition, according to Patrushev, the social and cultural adjustment of the people of foreign countries will receive considerable attention, counting as teaching migrant children according to russia's general teaching program.
